I graduated from Carthage High School in 1974 and got my Associate Degree in nursing (RN) from MSSC in 1977. I have held various nursing positions, ultimately ending with Family Nurse Practitioner from MU (Columbia, MO) in 1995.

I have been in practice at this current location but have worked with several different physicians including; Dr. Gregory L. Unruh, Dr. Bruce A. Akuna and currently Dr. W. Heath Dillard M.D. An accomplishment I am most proud of is having 3 Medical books published. Two of them are in conjunction with a friend and fellow Nurse Practitioner and one I wrote alone.

 One of my favorite pastimes is traveling and my life has been changed through medical mission trips to Falmouth, Jamaica (I have gone at least yearly since 1999). Seeing other cultures certainly gives one a new perspective of your own! Ask me about my missions anytime-I am always ready t o share information about Jamaica.
